Many thanks Steve Jongewaard....
If I ever get this movie script off the ground and flying - perhaps I'll put the other 'A' back in my name.
I'm curious to the name of the town 'Westzaan'...do you know what that may translate into?
And the 'Inn' - Le Prinz' - what's that translate to?
So, does 'Newland' come into play at all with the name of Jongewaard?
I ran into a true Dutch lady - who seemed quite certain that Jongewaard translated into 'NEW - LAND' - she told
me the name derived from the laborers digging and building the famous dams and canals - the reclaiming of land from the sea.
Thus creating, she told me - the 'NEW LAND' !
Also - would YOU happen to know and understand Dutch?
I'd love to know what 'New Land' would be in the dutch language.Same goes for 'Innkeeper'.
Many thanks for your reply and enlightenment.
Ciao,
Steven Jongeward
