(Should tell you everything you ever wanted to know, ...)
Includes map of James River, from mouth up to Falls.
Shows these sites (1), as well as Jordan's Journey (21), Warrascoyack (36), Basse's Choise (37), many others.
More detailed map, from "Tanks Weyanoke" (3) up to Falling Creek (14):

voyage of "Diana" (1618 or 1619?)
As you're probably well aware, probably every census ever taken, contains errors in detail, due to failing memories, ...
The 1624/25 Muster is no exception.
Some passengers claimed to have arrived on the "Diana" in 1618; others claimed to have arrived on the "Diana" in 1619.
Thomas Jordan claimed to arrive on the "Diana", but didn't state what year.
There doesn't seem to evidence of 2 different voyages of the "Diana"; 1618 is accepted.
Many ships' arrivals are reported in "Records of the Virginia Company" *AFTER 1619*; I'm not sure of a good source, for arrivals before 1619.
Let me know, if you find a source.
AP&P (4th ed, v1) contains a good article on the Davis family.
Some primary sources include:
C&P - many mentions
"Land Records of Somerset co MD" (Ruth T Dryden)
James Davis & Margaret Jordan (& family) travelled back & forth between VA (IoW, Nansemond) & MD (Somerset).
More later, if you need it.
children of Thomas Jordan I
AP&P (4th ed, v2) also includes a good article on Thomas Jordan (sr) family.
In this case, no background is supplied, to attach Thomas (jr) or Margaret, to Thomas (sr).
So following is my own analysis.
We have good record of:
1) Thomas Jordan, of Pasbehegh & the Maine
2) Thomas Jordan (sr), of Warrosquoyacke
3) Thomas Jordan (jr), of Isle of Wight co VA
4) Margaret Jordan (sister of Thomas-jr) m: James Davis
Warrosquoyacke co was an original VA county, 1634; in 1637, it was renamed Isle of Wight co; the 2 names are the same place.
From proximity and assosiation with Davis family, 3 & 4 can be tentatively assigned as children of 2.
Previously, I have tentatively identified 1 & 2 as the same person.
There may be better document available, which I have overlooked.
In particular, I vaguely recall a document, which named Thomas Jordan of Chuckatuck (3, above), as the son of Thomas Jordan the elder.
But I'm unable at the moment, to find this document, if it exists.
The document which describes Thomas (jr) is "Early Quaker Records in Virginia". This is a collection of records, from Chuckatuck meeting house.
p 43: Thomas Jordan of Chuckatuck - born 1634.
p 8: marriage of Robert Jordan & Christian Oudeland.
witnesses include: father, Thomas Jordan; mother, Margaret (Brasseur) Jordan; aunt, Margaret Davis; uncle, James Davis.
Margaret Davis would not be a sister of Robert's mother, Margaret Jordan; James Davis would not be her brother;
therefore, Margaret Davis must be Robert's father's sister.
Clear enough?
Like I said, there may be better document available, but I would have to hunt for it.
