My great-great-grandfather was samuel jordison and I'm currently living on the farm he established close to Coalville, Iowa about a hundred years ago. The highest concentrations of jordisons is probably in coalville and the surrounding area. We are probably directly related. The barn he built is still standing and we just put a new coat of red paint on it. My grandpa (David Jordison-still living) Has told me stories about how he and his dad used to visit samuel.
My grandpa grew up about a half mile away on holiday creek. His cousin Elwood Jordison(still living) and family grew up with samuel on his farm in the 1930's. My dad is Lance jordison and mom is melanie jordison.

There is ten or twenty of us in the area. Sorry no info on Samuel's parents.
