Does anyone have any information regarding Nancy Elizabeth JOCELYN born about 1790's and married Watson LEWIS? The family resided in Cincinnati and Rising Sun, Ohio Co., IN - Watson died before Nancy in about 1839 - I have a copy of his will and probate from Hamilton Co., OH. Nancy used the name Addison for either the first or middle names of two of her sons - I don't know why but it is possible that it was a family name. I found a Jared C. JOCELYN in the same time frame in Floyd Co., IN who also used Addison for a son's name - feel there must be a connection but cannot determine if Jared is a brother or uncle (seems too young to be her father). Would be very grateful for any help! The LEWIS family was also connected to the GODLEY family of Rising Sun, IN. I will be in the area at the end of this month and hope to have some info to help track down more info on Nancy. I can share a lot of info on the LEWIS and GODLEY families - please let me know if you have a connection!
Anyone who might have info on ANY JOCELYN/JOSLIN family in IN or OH, I would appreicate info!
