Looking for info on Joseph Joslin, born MA in the 1780s.He was married to Jemima Gratton(also from MA)in Mar. of 1807 at Oneida County NY.They had several children. They moved to Pembroke,Genesee Co. NY and stayed there awhile. I think Jerusha may have been born there in 1814.From Pembroke they moved to Machias in Cattaraugus Co. NY.Joseph was a farmer there.He died in 1832 or 1842 and is buried in the Brewer cemetery in Machias.When he died it broke up the family. The children were taken over by other families in the town.Jerusha married Heman Button of Machias.Heman took in two of the Joslin children.Heman and Jerusha had several children themselves.Would like to know who Joseph's Joslin's parents and grandparents were and where they were from.Jerusha died in 1855, about the same year she gave birth to my Gr.-grandmother, Ida Button.Any help would be appreciated.---------Terry
