Asbury Hamilton Parker and Martha Jane Joslin were married 7 Apr 1853 in Nodaway County, Missouri. Martha Jane Joslin was the daughter of William Joslin (b. 1802 in New Jersey and believed to have died bef 1880 in Missouri) and Sarah Williams (b. about 1810 in Ohio and d. sometime after 1880 in Missouri). William Joslin and Sarah Williams were married 8 Sep 1831, Shelby County, IN.

William Joslin was the son of P. R. Joslyn (believed to have been born about 1760 in New Jersey, d. 1846, Burlington, Kane County, IL) and Rachael UNKNOWN (believed to have been born in Ohio or New Jersey about 1770 and to have died about 1836 before P. R. travelled to Kane County, IL). P. R. Joslin (or Joslyn) is believed to have been named William Joslin/Joslyn, but histories in Kane County, IL list him as "P. R. Joslyn".

William Joslin, son of P. R. Joslyn and father of Martha Jane Joslin was a sibling to my GG-Grandfather, James Riley Joslin. Riley was also mentioned in the Kane County histories.

You mentioned in another post that you have pictures that you would be willing to share. Please contact me in that regard at mecohenour@aol.com.
