Thanks Beth for the reply.I just read it, I guess I wasn't notified there was a message for me.I have also heard from a lady named Janet and her mother named Emily who may be cousins of yours. They told me about Emily's first hubby "Bastian Jouvenaz" was a Frenchman from Notterdam, Hollad. They also said Emily's maiden name was "Prager" and she was from London, England. They do not know when they married. They have tried to find Bastian's immigration information or ship record, but have not so far.Their children were:Emily, Peter, Bastian "Benjamin" and Cora.Peter and Cora may have died early in chlidhood since there was another child named Peter and one named Cora that were born later to them.
You stated the Jouvenaz's lived in Ocala, FL.That would make sense because my ggrandfather Joseph Santo lived in Ocala with Emily.I think they were married after 1930, because I find him in Orange Co., FL at that time.I believe it may have been around 1932 they were married. They lived in or near Bellview, FL acc. to family members.
I wish I could find a street address or find something on their address or an article in an old newspaper.I did visit the Eustis, Lake Co., FL public library to check out old newspapers since my family lived there prior to 1930.However, at the time I visted, the only old newspapers did not contain anything about my family and maybe I need to contact the Marion County, FL library or the Ocala library.
Please reply soon.
Sincerely, Lisa Looney
