April 1888 Gainesville, Cooke Co., TX newspaper:

Miss Sallie Judson, the Western Union telegraph operator at this place, who has been visiting her parents near Lincoln, Nebraska for several weeks, returned home yesterday. (earlier article stated she had not visited her parents in 3 years since moving to TX).
