I bet if you find one name from the German areas of St. Clair Co. you could put your name in anybody's family tree, there all related somewhere down the line. Let's see if you can! I've been researching my husbands last name,Pannier. Start with Geroge Erb Sr.who married Dorothea Juenger. There children are Catharine,Dorothea,George Jr.,Anna Margaretha,Henry,Michael & Nicolaus. My husbands family comes from Anna Margaretha Erb who married George Schickedanz. They have four children,Anna Margarethe,Catherina,Christoph Heinrich & George. The child Anna Margarethe married a Pannier. This Dorthea Juenger was already married to George Erb when they came to America in 1852. I don't know what her connection is to the other Juengers in the area. I came across this forum and see it's just getting started, so I wanted to say Hi, I also live in St. Clair Co. Nancy
