My GGG Grandfather was Narcisse Julien who came to NY from Quebec some time before 1849, the birth year of their first child Louise (my GG Grandmother).His wife was Harriet
I found a Joseph Julien (from Canada) in the 1880 Census records for Cook County, IL.This may be your family as one child was born in MA circa 1872.
