Robert Emmett Jump, 70 of Georgetown, Ohio died Wednesday January 18, 2006 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was retired from the City of Cincinnati where he worked as a highway maintenance foreman. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Brown County, Ohio. Mr. Jump was born July 24, 1935 in Detroit, the son of the late Emmitt and Marie (nee Kearns) Jump. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Billie Marie Jump. He is survived by two sons and two daughter-in-laws, Ronald and Karen Webb of Batavia, Ohio and Richard and Cathy Webb of Cincinnati and five grandchildren, Nathaniel, Julian, Christopher, David and Paul Webb. Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 A.M. Monday, January 23, 2006 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley. Rev. John Fisher officiated. Interment was in Red Oak Cemetery near Ripley with military services provided by American Legion Post No. 367 of Ripley.
