I wonder if this may be the same family of Conrad Junker and Marie?
I have LOUIS JUNKER married to MARIA SCHORER.
MARIA had a sister MARGARETHA B. June 10, 1831 Wangon Kanton, Switzerland, d. September 18, 1871married to FERDINAND MONHARDT oCTOBER 7, 1859.He was born October 8, 1836 in Weidesbach,Switzerland and died October 4, 1889.
Family lore has Margaretha dying of Homesickness after her son Emil Carl was born in Sheyboygan, Wisconsin.Ferdinand remarried, ( ? ) and had one daughter Freida Monhardt-Stoner
After Ferdinand re-married two of his four sons Herman and Emil went to live with the sister, MARGARETHA and her husband PASTOR LOUIS JUNKER.They lived near Melrose and Sparta Wisconsin from 1878 to 1882, then at Eitzen, Minnesota from 1887 to 1898.Pastor Junker sent Hermand and Emil to college to study to becomne ministers. Robert and Otto stayed home with their father.
FERDINAND had four son's.
JOHANN HERMAN, Minister, September 9, 1860, Swiss
SAMUEL ROBERT, Tinsmith TWINS B. September 9, 1860, Swiss
FERDINAND OTTO, wagon makerB. November 14, 1864 Swiss
EMIL CARL, MinisterB. September 15, 1869, Eitzen, Minnesota
The Monhardt's naming patterns have the children called by the middle name.
