Lois Farnsworth Justice, 91, of Laughlin Healthcare Center
in Greeneville, Greene Co TN, died Thursday evening, March
17, 2011. She was born November 19, 1919.
She was a long-time member of Asbury United Methodist
Church and the Bobbie Pierce Study Group, and a Charter
Member of the Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post 1990.
Mrs. Justice was preceded in death by her husband, Benford
Justice; parents, Joe and Bess Farnsworth; sister, Joe Ann
Farnsworth Hauff; and brother, James Farnsworth.
She is survived by her beloved family, nephews, Cliff
McInturff and wife Becki, Joe McInturff and wife Ann, and
Jim and Joe Farnsworth, all of Greeneville, TN; great-
nieces and -nephews, Bekah Ricker, and Kyle McInturff and
wife Donna, of Greeneville, TN, Lorraine Duffek and husband
David, Steve McInturff and wife Debbie, of Adkins, TX, and
Eddie Farnsworth, of Auburn, GA; great-great-nieces and
nephews, Gracie and Emma Ricker, and Tyler and Sophie
McInturff, all of Greeneville, TN, Michael Duffek and wife
Kelly, of La Vernia, TX, Jeremy and Jenna Duffek, and
Casey McInturff, of Adkins, TX, and Justin McInturff and
wife Cherissa, of Tacoma, WA, and Jacob Farnsworth, of
Auburn, GA; and great-great-great-nieces and nephews,
Tyler Santos, Dylan Montgomery, Aidan and Emma Grace
Duffek, of La Vernia, TX, and Olive McInturff of Tacoma,
WA; and her special friends include Lois Teague, Marge
Strong, Carrie Harmon, Ruth Rinker, Elizabeth Tullock,
Mary Borden, Johanna Holz, and Mitch Estes.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 21, 2011,
from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m., at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m., Monday evening,
in the Doughty-Stevens Chapel.
Interment will be Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at 10 a.m., in
the Andrew Johnson National Cemetery. Reverend Jeannie
Higgins will officiate. Pallbearers will be Kyle Mctnturff,
Tyler McInturff, George Lamons, John Lamons, Homer Davenport,
Roger Hankins, and Jerry Moore. Honorary pallbearers will
be the loving staffs of Morning Pointe Assisted Living,
Laughlin Healthcare Center, and Dr. Michael Hartsell.
Memorial donations may be made to Asbury United Methodist
Church or a charity of choice.
Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home is serving the Justice family.
