I can't help you with the questions regarding to your grand mother, but if you are interested, my fathers uncles name is Henry Kaalekahi, born 1896 in North Kona. according to the 1910 Hawaii Census, my grandfather and his family is listed to have lived in Napo'opo'o Village,when in actuality, they lived in North Kona. It's been said that at that time, the "people" didn't call it "North & South". It was just Napo'opo'o Village. Reply if interested inlearning more, or helping me learn more about the Kaalekahi Ohana.
