C. van het Kaar, Thank you so much for your information. I have informed others of the Kaar line, who are doing research on the name, about the information you gave me. Don't be surprised if you receive many questions about the Kaar name soon. I have several myself. Let me explain. About 69 years ago my mother began following the lines of her four grandparents. They were Stahly, Kaar, Craig, and Unzicker. Later, she involved Gardner and Scott because they were so intertwined it only made sense. Recently, I comupterized the whole file. It turns out we have some of our lines back for 14 generations before we get stalled. Obviously, to research all those lines would be a full time job, but we have people in each of the named lines that are interested mostly in that name. Each one of us does what he can and each shares the information with the others. I'm not sure if anyone else in the family has the entire Master file or not, but we do and it is available to anyone in the family sincerely interested in the genealogy and willing to share what information they have so that we may add it to the master file. The file grows daily. If you have any kind of information or history on the family we would love to have it for our file. On the Kaar side we only go back to Joseph Kaar born about 1790. His possible parents could be John Kaar and Mercy Lee. If you have information about Kaar in Germany related to Kaar in the Netherlands we would love that too. Anything to find a link if there is one. Thank you again for your information and interest in the Kaar name. If there is anything I can do for you please let me know, I will do my best. Please keep in touch. Warren wsimmons@Quik.com Notify Administrator about this message?
