I am looking for information about my Great Grandfather John Kaczmarek. I am descended from son, Joseph Gustave Kaczmarek (Child 6 of 8) of his first marriage.
M#1:Wilhelmina Christina Kunz (1864-1907)Married in Elmwood, NE. before 1888 and was lived in Pipestone, MN.for 6 years. - Divorce for desertion Wilhelmina supported her 6 of 8 surviving Children as a seamstress both in MN. and after she returned to Elmwood, NE. She died in 1907 - when my grandfather was 12 so very little is known about John or his family in Poland.
M#2:Mary Gertrude Sweeney (1877-1927)5 Children.
According to his obituary John came to America when he was 21 years of age - first settling in Pennsylvania. He married his 2nd wife in Washington and then moved to Selby, Montana where he lived for 23 years before his death on 10Apr1945. After his died - his will bequeathed money and property to surviving children from both of his families.
My late mother Doris Rae Kaczmarek Savage found a photocopy of his Naturalization record filed on Page 12& dated: 12Aug1887 in Akron, Washington Co., CO.
Any information on ancestors or present descendants of either marriage would be greatly appreciated.
