I'm looking for a link from Melchior (Frank) Kaczmarek who was my Great Grandfather to surviving family members in Poland.
Family stories state that he and two brothers,(Gaspar and Balthazar)emigrated to the U.S. sometime after the American Civil War and before the Alaskan gold rush.
The three brothers were thought to have been circus performers and Mechior (a strongman) was said to have owned a lot of land in the Seattle area of Washington State.
He later moved to Michigan (Bay City)and farmed in Hampton Township where my Grandfather Anthony was born.
