Hi, I am a Koedel (German spelling). My GGGgrandfather came from somewhere around Bavaria, though I don't have an exact location. My family changed the spelling because of mistakes on legal forms, i.e. birth records, census, etc. I would like to know where in Germany your line comes from. Maybe it could help me in my search. GGGgrandfather came over in 1864 and settled in Butler Co., Ohio. Thanks, Vickie
