I am just beginning to learn how to do this type of research. My mother's father was named John Kadel and he was from Pennsylvania. She believes he was married previously and had a son John. Could that be the John you are looking for? My grandfather's first family lived in PA. My Grandfather was 62 in 1919 and lived in Brooklyn at the time.
