Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

UPDATE: Mary Warner Kagey died in 1901 in Nobles County, Minnesota, where she was living with her married daughter Florence and her family. Florence's husband was William Barkelew. Mary is buried in the Barkelew family plot in Worthington Cemetery, Worthington, MN, the county seat of Nobles County. Mary and Stephen must have separated in the late 1890s in Fairfield County OH. Stephen went back to adjacent Licking County OH where he had grown up and Mary moved to Minnesota. In the Census of 1900 each is described as "widowed" though their spouse still lived. This solves my oldest genealogical mystery and ends a 35 year search.
