I have a Shafer in the Kahl family tree. Not sure if they are related. John J. Kahl B. 9/8/1904 D. 10/14/77 His father is Charles G. Kahl his mother is Anna Boehme his wife's name is Ethel Jane Shaffer B.5/14/1896 D.1/3/77 Her father is Charles Shaffer and her mother is Gertrude Mitchell. I have his obit. He was retired from Crucible Steel co in Pittsburgh. He was predeceased by his wife Ethel Shaffer Kahl Jan 3, 1977. He is survived by brothers, Charles, Edward, William, Joseph and Raymond. Nothing else mentioned. Are we related?
