Wie geht es ihnen, Janet.
I am returning to Poland in three weeks to visit my Kaluza cousins, and track down more info.
Much of Poland prior to WW2 was part of: Austria Hungary, or, Prussien, or Schliesen (Oberschliessen), Germany, etc.
Our Kaluzas were born in Breslau & Katowice, and considered themselves Obschliessen Deutsche - of German ethnicity. Since WW2, the Polish Government has exiled most Schliessens of German heritage.
I have more info (actually books of it from my cousins). Let me know if I can help.
Brian
