I have notes that cite (a)Jacob Kanatzer Sr as the son of George Knortzer* and Eve (Adams). Jacob, b. in NC in 1767 and died in Madison Kentucky, in 1852.

Baltzer Knertzer by a warrant bearing date at Philadelphia 5/8/1742;
