Wortman also 1 cow, 2 heifers, 6 pewter plates, 1 pewter basin, 1 pewter dish, 1 iron pot, 1 spinning stool, ? bed & furn. Wife Mary Margaret, the dau of Christopher Kenetr, all cows, horses, hogs, household furn. at her death or marriage ? to be sold & money equally divided among all my children. Wife to have priviledge to live on my land during her life or widowhood, to make use of the timber."

Administrator of the estate of Chrstopher Conester deceased of the County of Rutherford, NC, impowered James Chitwood or his heirs to make a title to a 50 acre tract of land "on the waters of Wards Creek which was entered by Christopher Conester and the said place that Daniel Wortman now lives on". Samuel Carpenter, SamuelSwan and Benjamin Beaver were witnesses.
