Has anyone ever seen WEHKAKANGAS used as a derivite of the KANGAS surname?

My grandfather Reino KANGAS listed his mother on his Social Security Card Application as being named Katri WEHKAKANGAS. He listed his father as Matti KANGAS. My grandfather was born in February 1906 in Conneaut, Ohio. Much mystery surrounds his birth and who exactly his parents were. He never spoke of any siblings. He mentioned the names Malli, Hjerpe and Rikitki on several occasions. Any help would be appreciated.
