The Jack Kannapel who raced cars was Charles Daniel “Jack” Kannapel (1908-2002) who was born in New Middletown, Indiana and is buried in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Huntington County, Indiana where he had resided since moving back there from Kansas in the 1940s.
