Actually the marriage was in HOCKING CO., Ohio. I have no other information on the Kanode family. I am looking for a sister to my 3rd great-grandmother and thought Louetta/Lovetta Woltzer/Woltzen who married the KANODE gentleman could possibly be her. The Wultzen/Wulzen/Woltzen (and many other variations in spelling) were in York Co., Pennsylvania (1830-?) then to Pickaway Co., Ohio (1840-1855) and then on to Livingston Co., Illinois. Some other surnames connected to this WULTZEN family are: OBERLA/ENDER, DEFENBAUGH, HANKLE, FIELD and WESNER. The WULTZEN family came from Bremen, Germany. Where is your Kanode family from?
