The Jesse Kanode that I have was my grandfather and born in 1874 in Logan Ohio. His middle name was Jeramiah. He moved to Lancaster Ohio and was a carpenter, cabinet maker and gunsmith. About 1926 he was interested in early Radio, and built a Speaker with two horn speakers combined with one "dynamic cone speaker" for high fidelity sound. Wanted to patent it, but the fellow who was going to back him financially backed out. His father was Morgan Kanode who was born in Baltimore Maryland in 1803 or 1813. Have not been able to find his Mothers name.
He had one daughter Florence who was my mother. Jess had two brothers, Robert and Nathen. Jess died in the late 1940s.
