I am researching a Protestant Carpp family from Bavaria, who came to the US in the mid-1800s and lived in western New York state. Our line went to Michigan.
1. Jacob Carpp & Catherine Zimmerman
2. Michael Carpp & Ann Marie Spittler - both born in Germany
Michael & Ann Marie had 11 children between 1847 & 1868
2. Michael Carpp & Melvina Briggs had 8 children between 1870
& 1889 in Michigan.
3. Charles August Carpp, born New York 1852
married 1892 in Michigan to Ina Mae Hazard
