My father's name is Otto Paul Karp, however, he was not in the first world war and is still living. However, there may have been an uncle, cousin or other relative that he could have been named after. His father's name was Julius Karp. Interesting. There aren't too many Karps around. It's a rather unusual name. My grandfather was from Alsac Lorraine, France/Germany. Lived in Albany New York, then Springfield MA.
