Hello Jackie,
You're right...there aren't too many of us out here. Still, it has been difficult to track down much information at all. I know the names of my grandfather's parents, but that's as far as I've gotten.
My branch of the Karpinski's probably started in Germany/Poland. My great-grandparents and my grandparents lived in Huron County, Michigan in the town of Port Austin.
From there, my grandparents moved to Warren, Michigan...which is where I was raised.
Don't know if any of the clan ever made it to Indiana or Illinois.
If it helps any, my great-grandparents were Casimir and Helen (Krajenka) Karpinski.
Thank you for your message. It was nice to hear from one of my "possible" relatives. (smile)
