Hi Karpinskis from the US,
I´m looking for Karpinski from Szwarocin, Rybno parrrish near Sochaczew (40 km from Warsaw). My great-grand father Jakub Karpinski (married to Jozefa?) was born either in Szwarocin or in Gizyce (parish Gizyce, near Szwarocin) about 1820-1832. All documents from the Gizyce parish burned in September 1939. For this reason I cannot find out who the father of Jakub was. All my line is:
1)Jakub married to Jozefa born about 1820-1832
2) Karpinski Antoni (son of Jakub) born 1850 or 1851 in Gizyce (all documents burned down). Antoni was married since January 4 1869) to Agnieszka Jadzyk, daughter of Lukasz Jazdzyk and Marianna Gurzynska. Antoni K. died in December 1938 in Szwarocin
3) Wladyslaw Karpinski son of Antoni, born December 1891 in Szwarocin. He died on November 2 1954 in Warsaw
4) my father Ryszard F. W. Karpinski
Does has anyone has an idea what Karpinski-family I´m from? On the documents from Szwarocin in russian language there is a notice that my great-grandfathers were landowners.
There are many Karpinskis in the Szwarocin, Rybno, Gizyce and Juliopol/Mlodzieszyn area. I´ve been there 2 weeks ago.
I´m looking forward to getting more detailed information. Maybe somebody has any of these first names in his family tree?
