I am researching the Karpinski family from Uniontown area of PA, and have not posted in a long time. My great grandfather was Jan Karpinski, married to Apolonia. They were from Preztel/Marcews Poland, but have seen it written as Crackow as well. They had children Frank, Felix, Verna, John, Albert, Clement, Mary, Stanley, Antoinette, and Josephine. Jan had a sister Marcianna and brother Walter (in Denmark), and possibly other siblings Cecylia, Rozalia, Maryanna and Panlin. Jan and Apolonia are buried in St. Thomas Cemetery, Footville, PA.
