Leon Karpinski (1785 - 1855) - Poznan/Posen, Poland

I'm presently researching my paternal lineage, and have come to a dead-end. I am searching for any information regarding Leon Karpinski (1785 - 1855) who married Magdalena Radolinska. Together, they had 5 children: Felix, Leopold, Marceli, Antoni, and Teodora. It is said that they lived in the Congress Kingdom of Poland until they were forced to flee during the November Uprising of 1830. They subsequently fled to Poznan/Posen where they established a fairly large family. My understanding is that Leon had a brother. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
