According to the obituary of Henry Andrew Karpinski, Denton Journal (Denton, Maryland) > 1951 > July > 13, he was born in Biloxi, Mississippi. He was survived by: Parents, Alex and Mary Agnes Helminiak Karpinski; Brother, Alexander of Baltimore; Sisters, Mrs. Harold Jopp of Denton, Mrs. Clara Wasowicz of Baltimore and Miss Anna Karpinski of Baltimore.

Agnes died before 17 Jul 1964 as there is a thank you card from her children published in the Denton Journal on that date.
