She had not been sick but a few days and her death was entirely unexpected. The funeral services were held Friday, Rev. R.E. Porter officiating, with the interment in Columbiana Cemetery. Maggie was a bright little girl of ten years of age and stood well in her studies at school and was a regular attendant at Sunday School. Her mother, Miss Arzonia Stecker of Monongehela City, PA. Attended the funeral.

-Obit Clipping- 72 Years of Age At the ripe old age of 72 years and 3 months, Solomon Snyder died Saturday of heart disease and dropsy, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Walter Karrick on Salem Street. The funeral services were held on Monday, conducted by Rev. G.L. Davis of the M.E. church with interment in North Lima. Mr. Snyder was a member of the M.E. Church, a life long resident of this vicinity and leaves four children to mourn his death; Mrs. Walter Karrick, Mrs. Wm Arnold, Mrs. Lida Greenamyer, and Mrs. Joel Oberholtzer. The children desire to thank their friends and neighbors for kindness shown them during the sickness and death of their father.

-Obit Clipping- As a Tired Child Margaret Karrick Went to Sleep- The Last long Sleep. Sitting in an armchair before the fire knitting Monday evening, Margaret Karrick silently laid her work on the table by her side, reclining her head upon the back of the chair and with one hand in her lap and one on the arm of the chair quietly and peacefully entered into eternal rest. She was living with her son, Walter, on the Salem road and it was thus the family found her about 7 o’clock. Heart trouble was the cause of death. The funeral services were held this afternoon from the house, Rev. R. E. Porter officiating with interment in the Columbiana Cemetery. Margaret Karrick was born in Pennsylvania Nov. 20, 1827 and came to this section with her parents when quite young and had always lived in this vicinity. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, a kindhearted sympathizing woman and many were the acts of kindness and generosity done by her. Two sons, Walter, with whom she lived, and L.R. of Canton survive her, besides Maggie, an adopted daughter.
