Mary E. Karrick m. John W. Blevins 1878, and I have been totally unable to determine who her parents were. She was born late in 1860, after the census was taken, and by 1880 she appears with her husband and two young children, (including Pressley, my GGF), so I have no documentation of her name appearing with her parents and siblings.
I have ruled out those families already having daughters named Mary during the 1860 census, but that still leaves several. Even the names of Mary and John's children have not provided sufficient clues to suspect one family over another. I sure hope someone out there can help.
To add to the confusion, I found two Bath Co. Marriage records for J.W. Blevins to Mary E. Karrick with the same day and month, but one in 1866 and the other in 1878. The one in 1866 supposedly took place at the home of John P. Karrick, but there was no such notation on the 1878 entry.
