Greetings,
Most of the pictures have been identified. He also has pictures which he scanned from negatives (about 50-60) that are excellent.
Some are of Amanda Karrick and his mother Ina McClain Dyer, and other family and friends of that time. He has placed most of pictures on DVD and CD and is using for keepsake, and giving to his brothers and sisters. The letters and tax items and deeds he is also scanning a placing on CD or DVD. Excellent views of the home place where they lived in outskirts of Salt Lick near the McClain Cemetery, across the creek from actual cemetery. Thanks for the website offer, but most of pictures have been identified. He is still scanning some items, the trunk was full, and yes many items are valuable genealogy sources.
