Karricks are in my family on my grandfathers side going back to 1700's. One branch of that family went from Maryland to Ky. Given the rareity of the name, we may have a link.

Walter Karrick went to Ky. apparently sometime after 1792, as all the children were born in Md. Died in 1803 in Lexington.

Here is a list of the children I have:
Edward, b1771
Joseph, b 1773
Walter, b 1775
Hugh, b 1780
John, b.1789
(unknown female) b 1790
(Elizabeth) b 1791
Martha b 1792

Joseph did not go to Ky. He wound up in Iowa and is my fourth great grandfather.

There has to be a link here.
