AUBURN - Bernice I. Karrick, 86, of Auburn died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006, at St. John's Hospice.
She was born Oct. 26, 1919, in Springfield, the daughter of John Edward and Ethel South Courtney Sr. She married LeRoy Karrick Sr. in 1936 in Springfield; he died in 1983.
Mrs. Karrick was a homemaker.
Survivors: four sons, LeRoy "Pete" (wife, Sarah) Karrick Jr. of Mechanicsburg, Charles Henry (wife, Nancy) Karrick of Illiopolis, David Lee (wife, Martha) Karrick of Riverton and Art (wife, Penny) Karrick of Auburn; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rosella Hubble of Marion and Elsie "Mickie" Rudin of Auburn; and two brothers, John Edward (wife, Carol) Courtney Jr. of Spaulding and Harry (wife, Regina) Courtney of Springfield.
Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday, Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn, the Rev. Richard Harre officiating. Burial: Camp Butler National Cemetery.
