Hi Marianna:

I am a descendant of the Kerrick Family. My grandmother is Lavinia Belle Kerrick born 24 May 1873 in Loudon Co., VA and died 21 March 1958 in Richmond, VA. I have two cousins who have done extensive research on our Kerrick Family ancesry. One is a retired Catholic Priest now dedeased and the other is a Protestant Minister. Both of them have found that Hugh Kerrick apparently came from Ireland in the early 1700s and settled in Port Tobacco, Charles Co., VA. He married Elizabeth Luckett and they had 7 children with Walter Thomas Kerrick being their 2nd child. Walter Thomas was born in 1744 and not 1734. Walter married Mary Barnes and they had 8 children.

Also I have a copy of the will of Hugh Kerrick and in it he mentions his son Walter but there is no reference to his wife, so she could have died before the will was made.

Are you by chance a descendant of the Kerrick Family? If so may I ask as to which one of the Kerrick Family you are related?

If you wish you can contact me direct at maraudermn@aol.com
