I have an update for my previous question. My grandfather's middle name is actually LESTER and he was named after his father. I have more info that I will post later but these are the basics:
Lauren Lester Kaser b. 10 Jan 1916, probably Lawrence Twpo, Stark County, Ohio d. 21 Nov 1995, Akron, Stark County, Ohio, bd. Greenlawn Cemetery, Wilmot, Stark County, Ohio. Lauren was the middle son of Lester Milo Kaser b. 14 nov 1890 near Winesburg, Paint Twp, Holmes County, Ohio and d. 17 Oct 1919 from appendicitis (ruptured) Aultman Hospital, Canton, Stark County, Ohio and Elizabeth Oplinger. Lester and Elizabeth M. 24 Dec 1912. They honeymooned in Niagra Falls. They are bd. West Lawn Cemetery, Winesburg, Ohio.
Lester Milo Kaser - 3 sons.
son 1. Milo Atlee Kaser - b. 23 Aug 1913 near Winesburg, Ohio and d.24 May 1937 from injuries sustained during tire explosion at Bolivar Dam on 14 April 1937. Single/No children
son 2. Lauren Lester Kaser - info above. 3 children 1 son (Larry Lauren Kaser b. 30 Dec 1941 d. 4 Jan 1969, St Mary's Hospital, Athens, Georgia from inuries sustained during a car accident - he was returning to college after visiting his parents for Christmas./no children) and 2 daughters, still living.
son 3. Vernon D. Kaser - b.18 Feb 1920 d.9 Nov 1988 from cancer - lifelong smoker. 1 son, still living.
Wife Elizabeth was pregnant with Vernon when Lester died.
Lester was the son of Josiah and Mary Elizabeth Marbaugh Kaser. Josiah b. 23 May 1858 near Shanesville, Ohio, d.21 May 1926 near Winesburg, Ohio - bladder cancer, md. Mary Elizabeth Marbaugh June 1876.
3 sons/ 2 daughters
Lester, Jonathan Lee, Charles, Melinda (David. L. Singer)b 2 Nov 1880 d. 27 Sept 1942 - Cancer), Sadie (Rudy Horst). Josiah was a Menonite Minister with Longnecker Church, Holmes County, Ohio. buried Westlawn Cemetery, Winesburg, Holmes County, Ohio
Josiah was the son of George and Rebecca Fetters Kaser.
Josiah d. 27 May 1926.
