Hello Jeff,
Unfortunately, since my original post, I have discovered that our Joseph Kaser (I too am a direct decendent - Joseph, Jonathan, Susanna, Rebecca - Susanna's daughter who married John Zaugg, Eliza Ann Zaugg - who married Henry John Shrock, Van Buren Shrock who was my grandfather) was NOT related to Johan Peter Keyser. There were other Kaiser/Keysers in that area of Berks/Montgomerey/Lehigh area of PA. I still haven't been able to pinpoint which family our Joseph decends.
I am interested in the book that you mention. I have looked at a microfilm of a Kaser book from my local FHC. I wonder if it's the same one?
I would love to compare notes with you. My info on your line stops at William. I only know that he married a woman named Annabelle.
