I have contacted older aunts sisters of Oliver Kash Jr. they dont know who has the old family bibles. My husbands brother is also trying to locate some information. I tend to agree with you that John was a member of the William Cash family, the mariner. The Cash spelling was changed in the early 1800's. We do have verification of that. Unfortunately, all roads to John Cash and his wife Rachel seem to be dead ends. Thanx for the input,,,,I'll just keep pluggin,,,,I am hoping to make a trip to Maryland soon.. John or his father supposedly owned land in Maryland in the early 1700's. We have found a record of a John Cash coming from England in 1654. But have not been able to pin this down.

Thanx again.

Wendy Kash
