I do not know if this will help but there was supposedly a doctor by the name of Oliver Kash in the Nicholas / Bourbon County areas of KY during the time of 1910-1915. Both my grandfathers were born in that area during that time and were named Oliver Kash Grimes and Oliver Kash Vice. Kash has become part of my family name tradition. My first son is Matthew Kash Grimes. Any info you gather that makes that connection would be appreciated. Good Luck
