Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
I am looking for information on Wendelin Kasper who was born in Baden, probably very near the French border in 1845. He came to the United States in 1867, settled for a year or two in Indiana, and then spent the rest of his life in southern Minnesota near Mankato. His father was Johann Kasper, and he had a sister or other female relative named Magdalena Kasper. By the time of World War I, the family name had changed to Casper.
