My grandfather was Frederick Kasper b1890 Cincinnati OH; his father Bernard Kasper b1866 Nussbach Baden, immigrated about 1888. I have generations back to Adam Casper b1635 in Zusenhofen Baden. These towns/villages just across river from Strasbourg Alsace. Do not have your Wendelin but the name does show up. If your family from this same Nussbach/Zusenhofen area I am fairly certain they are all related. In 1998 there was still a Kasper grocery store in Nussbach so there are still Kasper's in the area. The name is spelled various ways on multiple documents ie Kasper, Kaspar, Casper, Caspar. Please email me if you think I may have info which you are interested in.
