After my post, I went to the library in Indianapolis and found a few information that you already have. Kasper may be spelled Casper. The information I have found is that Nicholas Casper had been naturalized at Pittsburg on August 17, 1844 and that he had resided five years in the USA -- wished to become a citizen of the USA.

Nicolaus Casper was the son of Nicolaus Casper and Anna Kuhn. Frances Gebb (or Geb) was a daughter of Francis Gebb and Veronica Honeck, according to a marriage record.

That's all I have info. Guess that we have to dig more of our Casper/Kasper ancestry in Germany.

Do you know where were Nicolaus and Frances buried at?

Which son of Nicolaus is your direct line?
