Wife may have been Christina Schotzauer. She died in Pettis Co., Mo in 1878. Anyway they raised Sarah Sophia Bathke along with their children. Sarah Sophia m: Gustaf Stark and Maud May Kastens m: Wilhelm Stark. Do any of these sound familiar?
