Joan, Have you traced your Kastens back to Germany? I am looking for information on Louisa Kastenborn about 1819. She married David christian huebner in Germany he was born 1799 in Germany(?). their son my great grandfather, Frederick Christian Huebner was born Nove 11 1839 in Pomerania, Stalzenhageen, Germany. Louisa must have died in Germany. David came to America in about 1845 with his (2)wife, Christina Putzky. they settled in Portland, Dodge county Wi. with stopovers in Alba, Wi(near Watertown) and Some went with a contigent fo Germans into Iowa and neb. My line returned to WI. Betty R
